Trip Notes and Itinerary for 2 Days in Cabo San Lucas
October is National Plan A Cruise Month. As a member of Vacations to Go, I get their regular emails about discounted cruises, especially during the month of October. One of the emails I received from Vacations to Go led me to this Mexican Riviera cruise. It was a 5-day cruise, spending two of those days in Cabo San Lucas. The price and itinerary are what got my attention. And it coincided with my wife’s vacation.
This particular promotion listed the cruise at half price, plus offered $70 credit to spend onboard the ship. I watched the price for a few weeks after I booked. Sure enough, the price climbed back up right after the sale ended, went back to full price a few weeks after that, then sold out completely.
Cruise
I booked the cruise through United Vacations. As a member of their Mileage Plus program, I got airline miles for booking though them. I paid for the cruise with a rewards credit card and earned rewards points. The cruise departed from and returned to San Pedro (Los Angeles), California.

Activities/Excursions
The Sunset Outback and Camel Safari was booked through Norwegian Cruise Lines. The Land’s End tour was booked through a vendor we met at the marina.
