Hello! I’m Stan. Traveler, musician, journalist, photographer, weekend warrior. My deep passion for travel is matched only by a consuming love of food and music. On occasion, the stars will align during my journeys and these passions fuse together seamlessly.
Outside of these pursuits, I maintain a full-time job by day. With limited vacation time (and budget), making the most of my travel opportunities is essential.
I was born, raised, and still reside in California. The seed of my obsession with travel was probably planted as a child during our family vacations. (Thanks Mom and Dad!) Later, as an adult able to venture inside and outside of California and the United States on my own, this desire grew with each trip I took. Sometime during an excursion to Cancún in 2012, the travel bug bit hard and my wanderlust exploded.
